The team at A B&B and LeftCoast, would like to invite local creatives to come and find out about the next phase of our ground-breaking creative social enterprise!

We know we’ve been talking about Art B&B for a long time and many of you have seen little things starting to happen over the last year or so at the Ocean Hotel on the prom. You may have also heard our exciting news about all the money we’ve raised to get the project off the ground. But we also know that lots of you have questions about how you can get involved and help to shape the project as it starts to come to life. So this is your opportunity to do just that.

Join us on Thursday 30th November, from 5-7pm at the Art B&B (180-182 North Promenade, Blackpool FY1 1RJ) for a guided tour of the space & and a talk from Project Director Michael Trainor and Arts Project Manager Garth Gratrix, about where the project is up to and the next phase of activity. Then participate in some creative conversations about how you as local creatives can enliven and animate Art B&B once it is open, and help us to create a vision of what an Art B&B landlady should be as part of our new crowdfunding & membership scheme.

We only have space for 25 people to join us at this event so booking is essential & spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We’ll put on some refreshments at the event – but dress for the cold and as the building is in a ‘shut down’ state please wear solid footwear.  We reserve the right to refuse admission if suitable attire is not worn.

RSVP to jenny.rutter@leftcoast.org.uk  to secure your place. (Please let us know if you have access needs so we can plan for your attendance, as the building is still in its ‘raw’ state we do not have full accessibility currently in place.)

If you’re coming along – can we also recommend that you stick around in Town and go to the Fabulous David Hoyle show Homeward Bound, that’s on at Bootleg Social as part of Form’s season of performance there.  It starts at 7.30pm, and tickets can be booked via this link https://www.formblackpool.co.uk/ . We’ll be finishing in time to go along to the event ourselves so hope you can join us!
